Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series comes in three models: the Galaxy S26, the Galaxy S26+ and the Galaxy S26 Ultra. They share a lot, but they differ in size, cameras, battery and charging speed.
Choosing between them is mostly about which one fits your hand, your daily habits and how much you rely on your camera.
If you are comparing the Galaxy S26 series in Beirut, this guide puts the three side by side. The specs below come from the listings on our store, which are based on Samsung’s official Galaxy S26 series announcement.
What All Three Models Share
Before looking at the differences, it helps to know what stays the same across the range:
- A Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate (1-120Hz) and Vision Booster
- A 12MP (F2.2) front camera
- IP68 water resistance
- Wireless PowerShare
- Android 16 with One UI 8.5
- The same four colours: Black, Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue and White
So whichever model you choose, you get a smooth screen, the same software and the same selfie camera. The real differences start with size.
1. Size and Display
The Samsung Galaxy S26 is the compact option, with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display. It measures 71.7 x 149.6 x 7.2 mm and weighs 167 g, making it the smallest and lightest of the three.
The Samsung Galaxy S26+ steps up to a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, at 75.8 x 158.4 x 7.3 mm and 190 g. You get a bigger, higher-resolution screen without the full size of the Ultra.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has the largest screen, a 6.9-inch QHD+ display, at 78.1 x 163.6 x 7.9 mm and 214 g. It suits you if you watch a lot of video, read on your phone or simply want the most screen space, as long as you are comfortable with the extra size and weight.
All three include Vision Booster, which Samsung designed to keep the screen easier to read in bright light. That is useful on a sunny day in Beirut.
2. Processor and Memory
The S26 Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. The S26 and S26+ use either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy or the Exynos 2600, depending on the market.
If the chip matters to you, ask our team which version a specific unit uses before you buy.
The S26 and S26+ come with 12GB of RAM. The Ultra has 12GB in its 256GB and 512GB versions and 16GB in its 1TB version. These are the storage options on our listings:
- Galaxy S26: 256GB
- Galaxy S26+: 256GB or 512GB
- Galaxy S26 Ultra: 256GB, 512GB or 1TB
Phone storage usually cannot be upgraded later, so think about how many photos, videos and apps you keep. Our guide on how much phone storage you need can help you choose.
3. Cameras
This is where the Ultra stands apart. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ share the same rear camera setup:
- 50MP wide (F1.8)
- 12MP ultra-wide (F2.2)
- 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom (F2.4)
The Galaxy S26 Ultra has four rear cameras:
- 200MP wide (F1.4)
- 50MP ultra-wide (F1.9)
- 50MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom (F2.9)
- 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom (F2.4)
All three can zoom optically at 3x, which suits portraits and everyday shots. The Ultra adds 5x optical zoom, which can help with events, sports or details far away.
The Ultra’s main camera also has a wider F1.4 aperture than the F1.8 on the S26 and S26+. A wider aperture lets in more light, which can help in dim scenes.
4. Battery and Charging
- Galaxy S26: 4,300 mAh, 25W wired charging, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0
- Galaxy S26+: 4,900 mAh, 45W wired charging, Super Fast Wireless Charging
- Galaxy S26 Ultra: 5,000 mAh, 60W wired charging, Super Fast Wireless Charging
Battery life depends on more than capacity. Screen size, brightness and how you use the phone all play a part, so do not compare mAh figures alone.
Faster charging only works with a charger that supports it. The Samsung 45W power adapter uses Power Delivery, is rated at up to 45W and includes a USB-C to USB-C cable. That matches the 45W wired charging listed for the S26+. On the S26, it will still charge the phone, but at the phone’s own 25W maximum.
The Ultra lists 60W wired charging. A 45W adapter will still charge it, just not at the full 60W, so if top speed matters to you, check that both the charger and the cable are rated for it. Our guide on choosing the right fast charger explains what to look for.
5. The Galaxy Buds Core Bundle
On our store, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ listings come bundled with Galaxy Buds Core earbuds. The S26 Ultra listing does not mention a Buds Core bundle.
According to the Samsung Galaxy Buds Core product page, the earbuds have three microphones in each earbud for calls, wingtips for a secure fit, touch controls, IP54 water and dust resistance and support for Samsung Find.
If you were planning to buy earbuds anyway, the bundle is worth factoring into your decision.
Side by Side: Quick Spec Summary
- Galaxy S26: 6.3-inch FHD+, 12GB + 256GB, triple rear camera with 3x optical zoom, 4,300 mAh, 25W wired, 167 g, bundled with Galaxy Buds Core
- Galaxy S26+: 6.7-inch QHD+, 12GB + 256GB or 512GB, triple rear camera with 3x optical zoom, 4,900 mAh, 45W wired, 190 g, bundled with Galaxy Buds Core
- Galaxy S26 Ultra: 6.9-inch QHD+, 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB or 16GB + 1TB, quad rear camera with 200MP main, 3x and 5x optical zoom, 5,000 mAh, 60W wired, 214 g
Which One Should You Buy?
Here is a quick decision guide:
- Choose the Galaxy S26 if you want a compact, light phone that is easy to carry, and 3x zoom covers your photo needs.
- Choose the Galaxy S26+ if you want a bigger QHD+ screen, a larger battery and 45W charging, without the size and weight of the Ultra.
- Choose the Galaxy S26 Ultra if the camera is your priority, especially zoom, or you want the largest screen, 60W charging or up to 1TB of storage.
- If you also need earbuds, remember that the S26 and S26+ listings include Galaxy Buds Core.
If you can, hold each model before deciding. Size is personal, and the gap between 167 g and 214 g is something you may notice every day.
Accessories Worth Adding
The three phones are different sizes, so a case must be made for your exact model. A case for the S26 will not fit the S26+ or the Ultra.
Browse our cases section and check the compatible models on each listing, or ask our team to confirm the fit before you buy.
If you need a wall charger, match it to your model’s charging speed as described above.
Common Questions
Do all three run the same software?
Yes. All three listings state Android 16 with One UI 8.5.
Are they water resistant?
All three are rated IP68. Water resistance is not a guarantee against water damage and can weaken over time, so it is best not to expose the phone to water on purpose.
Does the S26 Ultra come with Galaxy Buds Core?
Not according to our listing. The Buds Core bundle is part of the S26 and S26+ listings.
